What is a city but its people?
This is a great quote from William Shakespeare and is very true, whether you’re in Mumbai, Seoul, or New York City.
CUBIC is for curious kids in the 8-12 age range, and is a 48 page, A5 magazine packed with awesome images, activities, and articles.
CUBIC Magazine Issue 27 is is all about Cities.
This issue includes; what makes a city, a look at Tokyo, London, Singapore, Hobart, and Stockholm to name a few, word-searches, design-a-city, maps, icons, mazes and more…
For example, in one feature we encourage children to think about city planning with questions such as whether a subway or overland trains and trams are best.
We also discuss what an architect does, and how cities often have an “old town” and what that means from a historic perspective.
