How many pineapples does a pineapple plant produce?
One, Two, a Hundred?
A pineapple plant can produce fruit for over fifty years which is a long time for a fruit-bearing plant.
The surprising downside, however, is that each year a pineapple plant only produces ONE pineapple, which is not a lot.
One more fact – pineapples don’t grow trees, they grow on stocky plants which remain close to the ground.
